Individual Counselling

If you’re encountering a life transition or just seeking additional support, individual counselling may be what’s right for you. You understand your story and self better than anyone else, even if it doesn’t feel like it all the time. I take a client-centred approach meaning that clients take an active and autonomous role during sessions.

Counselling for Teens

Teenage years can be some of the most confusing and difficult of our lives. It’s a time of finding our individuality, our independence and mapping out the sort of life we wish to lead. Teens often need tools to help guide them through these times and, as a mother of 2 former teens and 1 current teen, I can offer the support they need. I find a lot of teens will listen to a ‘professional’ over their parents, even if we’re saying the same things.

Virtual Counselling

Virtual counselling is a form of counselling that can happen from the comfort of your home. Given the current global crisis, these sessions allow us to still connect while staying safe.

With your parents, or you, becoming advanced in years, you may find yourself facing some intense challenges, such as navigating the maze of healthcare and making major life decisions. Add family dynamics to this, including parents and adult children who have different ideas, and it is enough to make you feel like you are losing your mind. Come in individually or with family members to sort through the challenges you are having.

Chronic Illness/Pain

The complexities of any chronic condition can be overwhelming. As a result, you may distance yourself from others. Much of your time may be spent at appointments or managing your care routine.
